Our Goal
Research Roomies is a simple coordination tool designed to help academics reduce conference travel costs by connecting attendees who wish to share hotel rooms, rental cars, or other expenses. Our platform facilitates introductions between users, but does not participate in or monitor any arrangements made outside the site.

We are not responsible for mediating disputes or monitoring off-site communication. How It Works
Partnerships
We welcome academic organizations and conference committees to share Research Roomies in their announcements. If you contact us at admin@researchroomies.com beforehand, we may be able to feature your conference on our site to make coordination easier for your attendees. Sharing or featuring does not constitute an endorsement.
The Founders
I (Eric Burkholder) am a mathematics graduate student at the University of Kentucky. I graduated from Valparaiso University in 2022 with a B.S. in Mathematics and minors in Computer Science and Applied Statistics. You can learn more about me at my personal website.
